Excise taxes on alcohol will add to the budget of Russia
According to the forecast of the Russian authorities budget can be enlarged by 200 billion through the excise tax on alcoholic beverages.

As announced by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at the investment forum "Sochi-2014" in the foreseeable future starts revision, the major purpose of which is the disclosure of illegal sales of intoxicating drinks.

According to Medvedev, soon the government will seriously engaged in restoring order in the field of excise duties on alcohol. The head of the research center of the Federal and regional markets strong drinks (master) Vadim Drobiz, moreover, stated that the Central task of the alcohol market is the shadow part of the turnover of alcanede, which is not subject to taxation, reports "Interfax".

"Usually, in the illegal sphere is a sturdy product, its share, and the share of substitutes in the market is estimated at 65%, the excise shall be paid only 35% of alcohol," said Drobiz. In addition, he stated that the amount of excise payments from intoxicating drinks in 2013 amounted to 300 billion rubles, which is 3 times less than the sum of the pre-crisis 2007.

Experts explain the care manufacturers from high taxes excise taxes, which provoke the creation of underground production. The resulting circumstances provoke a decrease in the growth of excises in the budget of the state. So, according to experts, the total amount of accrued excise taxes on spirits fell by 8.3%.

Project of the government in the nearest future it is planned to partially lift the ban on remote implementation of alcohol, which works in Russia since 2007.
