For 3 years he studied the picture with the technology of the reflected light, reports BBC News. The scientist came to find out that the artist was painting a picture in 3 stages.
It was found that the first version of the painting was depicted only woman on the second he added fur-bearing animal. On the 3rd version of the image of the animal was changed greatly. Ermine was increased in size and coloration of the hair of grey turned into white.
