according to the Ministry, for the nine months Georgia has set 42, 8 million bottles of wine with a capacity of 0, 75 liter in 35 countries, the Russian Federation was exported 27, 937 million bottles, which is 65% of total exports.
during the reporting period, the exported products worth 137, 104 million dollars, which is 64% more comparing with the same period last year.
After Russia, the number of the largest importers of Georgian wines are Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Poland, Belarus. The top ten countries are China, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Azerbaijan.
The embargo on products from Georgia to the Russian Federation operated since 2006. In the spring of 2013, Russia has resumed imports of Georgian mineral water " Borjomi ", and in June the import of Georgian wine and brandy.
