The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in the meeting with President of the European Council Herman van Rompuy and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso stressed the need to respect the Minsk agreements and noted that the solution to the issue of energy security of Ukraine and the EU needs a common effort, they say.
The meeting was held yesterday multilateral negotiations in Milan.
" The parties agreed that all points of the Minsk Protocol between 5 September and Minsk Memorandum dated September 19, must be fulfilled, in most part of the observance of the ceasefire, surveillance abroad and the release of the hostages, " said the report.
The interlocutors also stressed that the holding of elections in the Donbass negate Minsk consensus.
The leaders of Russia, Italy, Germany, France, great Britain, Ukraine and nearly 50 countries will participate, which takes place in Milan on October 16-17. Meeting in the multilateral format of the presidents of Ukraine and Russia is scheduled for October 17.
