Photographer Che Guevara and Picasso died of cancer
The legendary Swiss photographer renц? Burri, famous portraits of stars, died in the 82nd year of his life in Zurich. Among those captured, Burri, were Ernesto Che Guevara and Pablo Picasso.

The photographer died 20 October. The reason of death was cancer, tells BBC News referring to the Magnum photo Agency, which worked, Burri. Own archive of 30 thousand images Maestro bequeathed to the Museum photo Musee de lБ??'elysц?e in Lausanne.

The Burri was born in Zurich in 1933 and received his art education at the School of arts and crafts. My 1st photo he did in 13 years - took Winston Churchill, passing through the streets of Zurich driving a car with an open top.

However the photo is not immediately became his main occupation. While on military service in 1953-1955, Rene Burri was doing a documentary. In the mid-1950s, he worked as an assistant operator in the Swiss office of Walt Disney. And at the same time in his life there was the Leica.

In 1955, Burri began to cooperate with the Agency Henri Cartier-Bresson Magnum, and 4 years later became a staff photographer. Pictures of Burri appeared in such publications as Life, The New York Times and Paris-Match.

In 1963, Burri went to Cuba, where did who later became a famous photo of a revolutionary Ernesto Che Guevara Smoking a cigar. With him in the foto-classics portraits of Fidel Castro, Le Corbusier, Alberto Giacometti and Pablo Picasso, on the organization of shooting with whom the Burri went 4 years. Speaking about how to photograph celebrities, Rene Burri said: "should Not run into them, like a bulldozer".
