79% of residents of Russia advocated the adoption of the law, according to which the implementation of alcohol in the Russian Federation is permitted only 21 years old. For several years now this issue is extensively discussed by the population, but still the issue has not been considered.
In the foreseeable future in the Public chamber will begin hearings on "the Law of 21". It is to support their own initiatives, social activists armed with the opinion of the people of Russia. In a sample survey of the all-Russian center for public opinion studies (VTSIOM)conducted on behalf of the Public chamber of the Russian Federation, took part 1.6 thousand people from over 130 cities and 42 Russian regions, according to "Izvestia".
According to the results of a sample survey, the proposal to increase the age for the sale of alcoholic beverages was supported by the vast majority - 79%, when all of this formed the focus that among the respondents were older. Among respondents older than 60 years, 85%, and among 18-24-year - 64%. This deal largely shared by the fairer sex (82%)than men (74%).
Stir the whole initiative was supported by the inhabitants of the Russian capitals - Moscow and St. Petersburg, among other things, the inhabitants of the villages, in both these groups, the rate reached 82%. Note that according to the results of similar sample survey in 2013, the initiative had the support of 76% of the population of Russia.
Now on the basis of sociological sample survey and analysis of age-related limitations in the domestic law will prepare a resolution, which is already ready to sign up 50 social organizations. The document will be sent to Russian President Vladimir Putin,and in addition to the committees of the state Duma and the Federation Council. In addition, work will be introduced and all 85 regional zaksobranii who possess all authority to impose similar restrictions on the places.
