Yatsenyuk has promised to pay its debt for gas

Ukraine is ready to settle personal problems with resources, and with the supply of gas during the winter season, for which the government has already expressed willingness to repay the debts for past deliveries and to attract to the incident resolution the European Commission. The statement was created in the framework held in Brussels tripartite negotiations between the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Russia on gas dilemma.

We have the means to pay - they put in the gas. We are not paid - they don't put gas", - said the Prime Minister of Ukraine. The fate of payments for already delivered blue fuel is not so simple.

So, Ukraine has only $ 3.1 billion, purchased as economic support from the International monetary Fund and the European Union, and specifically their state is willing to pay to Gazprom. "This means that the cost per cubic meter of gas will be at the level of 268 USD. Regarding already supplied gas and pay for the gas, which partly remain in storage, and in part were used... the Position of Ukraine - the total volume of gas we can pay for the cost 268 dollars per thousand cubic meters", - said Yatsenyuk.

Kiev expressed willingness to pay a 1.45 billion dollars in the shortest time immediately after the signing of the Protocol. The remaining 1.65 billion dollars will be transferred to the accounts of Gazprom until the end of 2014.

Price for current delivery Yatsenyuk considers optimal, if it will be 378 dollars per thousand cubic meters of gas in the fourth quarter of 2014 and 365 dollars in the first quarter of 2015. Similar scenario, he explains that the price for gas will be formed in accordance with a special formula that's in the contract.
