The Ministry of defence of Ukraine before the end of 2014 will buy arms and military equipment in the amount of 792 million (about USD 60 million), informs the press service of the Ukrainian defense Ministry.
on November 3, Department of development and acquisition of weapons and military equipment of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine concluded 30 state contracts and additional agreements, said the press service, reports TASS. In the period up to September 26, 2014 Ukrainian defense Ministry received 17, 878 billion UAH, which is 66, 1% of the planned defense spending. Of this amount, logistical support of the military might of Ukraine (APU) allocated 8, 119 billion UAH, and for different payments soldiers - 9, 759 billion UAH. The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko 3 November signed a decree, according to which it is planned to increase the funding of the defense Ministry of Ukraine in 2014 to 3% of GDP and to conduct a number of activities to strengthen the Mat and the military-industrial complex of the country.
