The speaker of the state Duma of the Russian Federation, head of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CSTO Sergei Naryshkin tried to convince to strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation of the CSTO member States in a difficult geopolitical situation.
" The CSTO and Eurasian economic Union organically complement one another. Fresh realities require the activation of inter-parliamentary cooperation of the CSTO member States, " said Naryshkin on the 7th plenary meeting of the CSTO PA on Thursday.
He added that the new economic Union, which will be January 1, 2015, will provide an opportunity to jointly respond to attempts by Western partners " to substitute fair competition so-called punishment.
" Unfortunately, rough and clumsy U.S. foreign policy creates chaos, which brings with it violence, tyranny, suffering thousands of people and even human sacrifices. In these conditions it is necessary to make a polycentric world order, where the centers of power are not opposed to each other and cooperate, " said Naryshkin.
He said that in the current challenging conditions, it is important to work created inter-parliamentary liaison group on Ukraine at the base of the OSCE PA.
" I would hope that the new composition of the Verkhovna Rada will behave more constructively and we will be able to build a normal parliamentary relations to resolve the deepest fall in Ukraine ", - noticed the Speaker of the state Duma.
