In St. Petersburg starts collecting gifts for lonely elderly people and orphans
To give the New year a joy to orphans, lonely grandparents - another Good tradition of St. Petersburg. On the eve of the New year in our city begins collecting gifts for the "Good Tree" for those in the New Year on the coincidence of their lives left unattended loved ones. Gifts can be brought from 14 to 21 December TRK "Pearland" (seaside Ave, 72A, Park Tercentenary) in the hours of operation of the complex. You can leave the project volunteers at the Christmas Tree located in the center of the hall on the ground floor. In 2013, the townspeople were collected over 500 gifts that Santa Claus and snow maiden gave guests a "Good Tree", and the rest were transported for bedridden patients in a nursing home. Good thing everyone can do to tie scarves, socks, or draw a card, write poems for the elderly, to give the book to make Christmas decorations, - hand-made gifts to keep warm hand kind and considerate people. Children will be very useful things to study, books or beautiful notebook, cute clothes, and the little toys, and, of course, everyone loves sweets. Grandparents love interesting books, warm clothes, items that have a bit of home comfort and warmth. The city charity festival "Good Tree in the Konstantinovsky Palace" come each year more than 300 students from all orphanages of the city, and on new year's eve - more than 100 grandparents out of nursing homes. And everyone necessarily gets a personal gift like no one else.

The collection of gifts in 2014 will be held from 14 to 21 December. Gifts you can bring to the broadcasting company "Pearland" in the hours of operation of the complex and to leave under the Christmas Tree located in the lobby on the first floor.

<b>About the "Good tree"</b>

The idea of a "Good Tree" is to take orphans and residents of nursing homes outside of state institutions. To arrange for them neficiary, cosy holiday, with a sweet buffet, almost home, which they do not have enough in their ordinary life. On the Good Tree in 2014, children will be offered a fascinating master classes for creating carnival costumes, Christmas decorations, contests and sweepstakes from animators Christmas show. For residents of nursing homes will be held a festive concert, partner dance and feast. In the end they will be asked to perform their favorite songs to the accompaniment of the accordion. All artists, animators at the festival are free.
