The Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation considers posted on Thursday punishment EU against the Crimea as totally unacceptable discrimination of Crimean and Sevastopol on political considerations.
The European Union on Thursday added a ban on the export in the Crimea and in the Crimea items and technologies in the sectors of transport, telecommunications, energy and exploration, production and oil, gas and mineral resources.
" We consider it absolutely unacceptable any discrimination of Crimean and Sevastopol for political reasons, " according to a clarification issued by the Russian Ministry of foreign Affairs.
Even at the end of July, the EU introduced a package of sanctions against the Crimea, imposing a ban on new investment areas of transport, telecommunications and energy and the development of oil, gas and mineral deposits. At the same time it was forbidden to export " key equipment " in the same six sectors.
The US and EU do not recognize the annexation of Crimea to Russia and accuse Moscow of interfering in Ukraine. Russia denies it and calls the accusations are unacceptable. Western countries since March has repeatedly imposed punishment on a number of Russian politicians, businessmen and organizations and threatened to make wider restrictive measures. The last case of the use of such practices began in September punishment.
