Obraztsova was born in 1939 in Leningrad in 1943 it was evacuated together with the family from the besieged city. Elena Obraztsova taught at the Tokyo Academy of music and many other academies around the world. Was a noble member of Pushkin Academy, academician of the Russian Academy of art and musical performance, academician of the Russian Academy of arts, member of the International society of friends of the Russian Museum.
