Russia pushed the PACE on the side of the road

After the departure of the Russian delegation to PACE the Assembly ceased to settle against the Ukrainian crisis, told the Chairman of the Committee of the Duma's international Affairs Alexei Pushkov.

Self-care of the PACE of domestic delegation threw Assembly on the side of the road in regard to the settlement of the crisis in Ukraine, believes Russian lawmaker Alexei Pushkov. With all of this, some European parliamentarians to this day can't understand why Russia has taken such a sudden decision.

"At the PACE of someone "did not understand" why we left them? Let them wonder in those who understood and calls sanctions to our delegation, to a certain stupidity," wrote the MP on his own Twitter page. With all this, the delegation from Russia warned about what would follow if the delegation will be deprived of voting rights.

"At the PACE did not realize that with the departure of Russia PACE dropped to the wayside in the decision of the Ukrainian crisis. From the PACE now nothing depends. The curtain," added the MP. The Assembly lost one of the key mediators involved in the negotiations of the conflicting parties.

This, however, does not mean that Moscow will turn their own activities aimed at peaceful settlement of the incident. "Care of the PACE does not mean the isolation of Russia - we will work in the OSCE. PACE herself denied equal dialogue and weakened its role in Europe," saw earlier Alexei Pushkov.

Days.Ru wrote that the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted a resolution according to which the Russian delegation is deprived of voting rights and the opportunity to participate in the governing bodies of the organization at the April session. In response parliamentarians from Russia emphasized walked out of the Assembly and announced the suspension of activity in the Assembly before the end of the year.
