The Parliament will discuss the right of the Council to recognize a terrorist organization
The Parliament of Ukraine has sent for revision of the government's draft law, according to which the Council of national security and defence (NSDC) of Ukraine is authorized to recognize as a terrorist organization.
Such a decision at the meeting on Thursday endorsed 240 parliamentarians when the required minimum of 226 votes.
The document at the end of January was adopted in the first reading. By decision of the relevant Department, the draft law was sent back a second reading. This is because Parliament, proposed an alternative bill. It is planned that on their basis will be developed for a single Document, which will be introduced a special procedure of judicial recognition of terrorist organizations.

The bill proposes to clarify the Supreme administrative court of first instance for the recognition of terrorist organizations, to prescribe the characteristics of production in the treatment of prosecutors in relation to recognition as a terrorist organization, and also to give the bodies of the security service of Ukraine (SBU) the authority to "initiate a question about filing a lawsuit in court" in terms of events in the battle against crime.
