Russian Dolce Vita, or what Russians need to "live well" - study
Own house, happy family life and well-paid job - that are the three main constituents of a "good life", according to the study which has been made recently by the All Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VCIOM).

In the nearest future the sociologists of the centre will publish the results of the study, according to which 7% of Russians already live this "good life", and 29% are sure they will get it in the next years.

Russian Dolce Vita also covers such attributes as a car, interesting job, lot money (every third out of 1500 participants of the study is sure that all is enough to live well) and two children.

Anyway an optimistical one third of population is not really a reason to say everything is fine in Russia. According to the same research, most of our citizens (54%) think that they have no or little chance to live better in the future.

"29% of Russians who are sure in their success - that is quite impressive in comparison with previous years when our studies showed no self-confidence in Russians. But still a significant part of Russians is just surviving," Valery Fedorov, the director general of VCIOm said.

He says, at least 20% of Russians (mostly retired people) think that their earning become worse and worse. Every third family spend more than half of its earning on food, every fifth participant has to refuse himself in some foodstuff.

Fedorov resumes, the number of very poor people became less, but still present in the Russian society. Till now the state has found no effective strategies to make their lives better.

But only till now. The same research shows: 40% of participants say, people have stronger hope for better future now. 59% say, their life is mor einteresting than boring, even without the necessary amount of money. And even if money, according to the opinion of most Russians (54%), rule the world today and give an opportunity to live well, happiness cannot be bought for money. Rich people know it for sure.
