Providing contract soldiers the right to enter high schools without examinations will not decrease the chances for other entrants to become a student, the Russian Minister of Education and Science Andrei Fursenko stated on Sunday.
"None of the entrants who try their chances in competition exams will suffer from the fact that some places are taken by contract soldiers", the minister said.
He noted that the number of budget places for those who participate in the competition to enter a high school will not be cut down because of contract soldiers.
Draft law, giving contract soldiers the right to enter universities without examination, has been developed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with Ministry of Education and Science.
