The government of Ukraine is obliged to undertake economic reforms to gain stability, which is essential to everyone, said Tuesday the Prime Minister of Spain Mariano Rajoy at a press conference on the results of negotiations with the President of the European Council Donald Tusk.
Rajoy noticed that Spain fully supports the Minsk consensus, " which result may be a political solution to the conflict."
"De-escalation, which could come today, Is a ceasefire, although unsteady, and the withdrawal of heavy weapons. This is the result of these agreements and of the efforts undertaken in the channel format supported by Spain, " he said.
"now we need to move forward in the political process. And the Government of Ukraine - ed.) is obliged to undertake economic reforms to achieve the stability that we all wish " - said Rajoy.
The Ukrainian authorities have taken in April of last year in the Donbass military operation against dissatisfied with the coup of the region's residents. According to the final data of the UN, the victims of the conflict began more than 6 thousand people. In February adopted a set of measures on execution of the Minsk agreements, involving, for example, the ceasefire in the Donbass from February fifteen, the withdrawal of heavy weapons and the development of the security zone.
