Vice-President of the USA Joe Biden tried to convince the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to continue the reforms, said the White house on the results of the conversation, Biden and Poroshenko.
"The leaders discussed Ukraine's efforts at reform. The Vice President welcomed the appointment of the new head of the anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine and tried to convince them to further implementation of reforms aimed at establishing the rule of law, including antitrust measures and judicial reform ", - is informed in the report of the White house. The report did not mention any economic reform. Ukraine conducts dialogues with the IMF and other international donors on reforms in exchange for billions of dollars in loans.
Poroshenko last week signed a decree on the establishment of a National anti-corruption Bureau, which was headed by Artem Sytnik.
