Authorities support in the organization of Hajj to make the most of it accessible to all segments of the inhabitants, and living in Crimea Muslims can go to the Holy places in Saudi Arabia, said the Vice-Premier of the Crimean Cabinet of Ministers Ruslan Balbec.
Crimean Muslims allocated 300 quotas this year to make the pilgrimage to the Holy places of the Russian Hajj mission. The agreement about this was signed at the Ministry of Hajj in Saudi Arabia in Jeddah. Before the people's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mustafa Dzhemilev told the Ukrainian media that the Hajj Crimean Muslims must be only on Ukrainian passports and quota for Ukraine.
According to Ruslan Balbec, it is unacceptable to involve Muslims in politics, and speculate on the topic of Hajj. He said that 150 Muslim pilgrims were able to travel to the Hajj in the past year.
"The government provides support in the organization of Hajj to make the most of it accessible to all segments of the population. For this reason, the desire of pseudo-politicians deny people a real opportunity to touch the Holy places, about what most dream my life, it looks like at least, blasphemous, " said the Balbec.
Vice Prime Minister also believes that the Crimean Muslims will undoubtedly go to Hajj and will be able to touch the Holy places." The government gives a guarantee that no one is able to deprive the Muslims of Crimea and Russia of the right to visit the Holy places and to apply the duty of every believer", He said.
