Vladimir Sandoza. The Transnistrian Republican Bank (TRB) issued a special banknote 1 and 10 Transnistrian rubles in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war.
Transnistria, 60% of the inhabitants are Russians and Ukrainians sought to secede from Moldova even before the destruction of the USSR, fearing that the wave of nationalism Moldova will join Romania. In 1992, after the failed attempt of the authorities of Moldova the power to solve the problem, Transnistria was in fact beyond the control of the Chisinau area.
according to the press service of the PRB, fresh banknotes does differ from the one used in the statement with only one difference on the front side of the memorial in the lower right corner is marked with a marking depicting the St George ribbon of the Order of the great Patriotic war of II degree with the top one reads: "70 years of Victory" and the bottom " 1945-2015 ".
The circulation of the commemorative banknote is 7 070 pieces of each denomination, of which 2 000 pieces of each value is placed in specially made packaging - booklet (both banknotes in one booklet).
