In Sheremetyevo lightning struck two aircraft
In the capital's Sheremetyevo airport for the past day lightning twice struck the aircraft. Both incidents happened at the height of about 2 thousand meters, when the ships were landing.

For last days in the Sheremetyevo airport lightning twice struck the aircraft came in for a landing, informs Lifenews. Both incidents happened when the ships were at the altitude of 1800-2500 meters.

The first was traumatized Airbus A320 flying from Copenhagen to Moscow. After 2 hours, the electric charge struck the vessel, performing a flight from Prague to Moscow. It is known that at the moment both aircraft pass a technical examination. The experts will assess the degree of defects liners and then decide whether they are able to return to flight operations.

Similar case happened to Sheremetyevo at the beginning of February 2015. Lightning struck a Boeing 737 flying from Chita to Moscow. The conflict happened during the approach of the ship to land. None of the passengers who were on Board were not injured. Postflight inspection of the vessel showed that the lightning only slightly grazed coverage locator. Other defects to find failed. Then case the plane continued flying in normal mode.

More fundamentally, the lightning damaged the plane, EN route from Iceland to the United States in early April 2015. Shortly after takeoff in a Boeing 757 hit the electric charge, creating a large hole in its bow. Despite this, the aircraft continued flying in normal mode and successfully landed at the Denver airport after 8 hours.
