Studies of air at the test locations showed that hazardous substances because of a fire at the oil depot exceed the maximum permissible concentration, in places a number of restrictions, said the Mayor of the Ukrainian capital Vitali Klitschko.
From Monday evening at approximately 30 km from Kiev is burning oil depot, officials assured the public that there is no danger, although declared evacuation area 2 kilometers from the fire.
"Studies of the atmospheric air, which is carried out in Kiev, show that the content of substances, which are formed in combustion processes, exceeds the maximum permissible concentration," said Klitschko, quoted by his press service.
As said the Mayor of Kiev, to prevent deterioration of the situation in the capital, he gave the order to take a number of restrictive measures.
