In the Parliament of Italy made a proposal to abandon sanctions against Russia

At this summit it is planned to adopt an opinion on the extension of anti-Russian sanctions from the EU. First Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert fico called for the immediate lifting anti-Russian sanctions of the European Union in the case of the implementation by Russia of the Minsk agreements. On 5 may the European Parliament Committee on international relations blessed the draft decision calling for sanctions against Russia in case of failure of the Minsk agreements, and agreed to bring the document to valaisiana Assembly in June. On the same day the Minister for foreign Affairs of Austria Sebastian Kurz said that the European Union States links the future of sanctions against Russia with the progress of the Minsk agreements on Ukraine. In response to this, the head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S. Lavrov Century said that the penalties are not Russia's decision, for this reason, any criteria for lifting them with the EU will not be discussed. For its part, the permanent Commissioner of Russia to the EU Vladimir Chizhov said that Moscow was not negotiating with the European Union on the abolition of punishment, it is the decision of the countries of Europe make their own. Relations between Russia and the West deteriorated in connection with the situation in Ukraine. The EU and the US on the background reached in Minsk agreements between Kiev and militias Donbass about stopping the fire entered against Russia punishment, against the financial, oil and defense industries.
