Poroshenko has criticized the law on the restructuring of foreign currency loans
The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has criticized adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of the law on the restructuring of foreign currency loans.

on Thursday, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted in the 3rd and final reading the law on the restructuring of foreign currency consumer loans. Obligations will be possible to transfer into hryvnia at the exchange rate on the day of conclusion of the credit agreement, entered a two-year moratorium on collecting deposits, but most importantly - you can write off up to 85% of the principal. The write-off will be may be, if the total payments on the loan prior to the entry into force of the law exceeded 15% of the principal amount.

"I saw populist politicians who are trying to please one or another part of society, risking the existence of financial-banking system, the stability of the economy and handing out false promises, clearly realizing that it is unfair for the funds provided by all taxpayers to meet the needs of 65 thousand, that is no more than a tenth of a percent," said Poroshenko in conversation

first Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk also very quickly reacted to the decision of the Verkhovna Rada on the restructuring of foreign currency loans, urging MPs to get away from populism and share with government the responsibility for conducting the ongoing difficult reforms.
