Earlier inspectors of the office of Rospotrebnadzor in the region identified in the burgers American company Escherichia coli. McDonald's filed an appeal with the Tribunal regarding this decision, but the verdict was left with no configuration.

Examination of the regional Centre of hygiene and epidemiology showed that "chicken bacon", "mcchicken" and "fish roll" does not meet the requirements of microbiological safety. In their defense, the company announced that the examination was conducted on the burgers that have expired. However, the Tribunal decided that a two-hour interval between the creation of products and the conduct of the audit may not mean that the product has expired.
