France called the amount of liquidated damages for the "Mistral"
French Finance Minister announced the approximate amount of damages which the country owes Russia. Specific figures he did not specify, saying at all that it will be slightly less than billion euros.

French Finance Minister Michel Sapin announced that the media spread false information concerning the amount of damages for breach of contract on the "Mistral". According to him, would amount to less than 1 billion euros. Previously, the French satirical newspaper Canard enchaine published data, according to which France will lose about 2 billion from non-delivery of ships to the Russian Federation.

"It occasionally happens with Canard, to provide inaccurate information. All figures are given, they will be transparent... are You asking me whether it's 2 billion I'll answer that... no data values are less than 1 billion", - quotes Sapena RIA Novosti news Agency referring to France Inter. According to his statement, the document on termination of the contract with Moscow will be discussed in Paris until the end of August.

Days.Roux wrote that Moscow and Paris have come to an agreement about the terms of termination of the contract for the supply of the French helicopter carrier on the similarity of the "Mistral". Experts still continue to count the loss of the parties because of this decision.

From the budget powers, experts say, will be compensated for the damage done to French suppliers: EUR 350 million, the firm DCNS and Б?? 500 million to Thales Safran et. Adaptation of ships under NATO standards for implementation will be even 200 million euros, and the costs of the ships in the port of Saint-Nazaire can reach 150 million euros.
