The words of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko about possible Russian aggression against the Baltic States and Finland are considered to be nonsense, said the national foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
He added that speaking with similar statements of Kiev, apparently, hopes to distract world attention from the formed in the Donbas situation.
Unsubstantiated accusations against Russia coming from the mouth of Ukrainian politicians, even at the highest level, have become a normal sight for the international political arena. Even President powers Petro Poroshenko in conversation with foreign journalists began to ask myself questions about possible Russian aggression, besides myself positively answered them. For example, in a similar format he identified though the willingness of Russia to attack Finland and the Baltic powers.
"Until we see that the office of Ukraine wants to heat up the situation, speaking with some unreal, delusional statements," RIA Novosti quoted the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. Petro Poroshenko, even without receiving a direct question on 1 of their own favourite themes - "Russian aggression" - managed to explain about the danger to the Baltic States. "He himself asked whether Putin is ready to attack the whole of Europe, and he responds that he is ready", he said.
"It is clear that such a person is more concerned to maintain Russophobia in the West, to artificially exacerbate tensions and to divert attention from their own inability to perform, under which they have signed. The failure to agree the current Kiev authorities us quite worried", - stated Sergey Lavrov.
"We hope that participants in the "Normandy format" can't help but see all these games, I can not see a sincere effort of the Russian Federation on ensuring the implementation of the Minsk promises by all parties and cannot fail to realize that the game you're trying at the moment, all to lure the Ukrainian authorities", - said the head of the foreign Ministry. He noted that Kiev does not show any interest in reaching a lasting truce - on the contrary, as if preparing for war.
"Worried about the situation on the fronts, it is already possible to speak not about the line of contact, alas, and on the front," said the foreign Minister. "We are troubled by the developments of recent days, which is hugely reminiscent of the preparations for the next military action," he said.
"Depend, what is planned for the coming week a series of meetings of the contact group and subgroups will break the thrust of the rejection of direct conversation and we, together with our partners in the "channel format", in conjunction with the American staff, who assured us that sincerely want to achieve full implementation of the "Minsk-2", will manage such a direct dialogue to establish", - stated Sergey Lavrov. He stressed that without direct dialogue between Kiev and adherents of Donetsk and Lugansk no normalization of relations impossible.
