Luc Besson will shoot a film about the death of the "Kursk"

"European Hollywood" - a film by Luc Besson's EuropaCorp is going to make a movie about the tragedy of the submarine "Kursk". The film will be an adaptation of the book by the famous English journalist Robert Moore called "a Time to die".

The direction was entrusted to Dane Martin Zandvliet for which the tape is on Course to be the first English film. The script will be written by Robert Rodat, who worked on the film "Saving private Ryan" and received the "Oscar", informs Variety.

Submarine K-141 "Kursk" sank in the Barents sea, 175 km. from the city of Severomorsk, at a depth of 108 meters in the crash, which occurred on August 12, 2000.
