The official China maintains a cautious position with regard to cooperation in the Crimea, but not opposed to the economic activities of Chinese organizations in the country, said Deputy head of the foreign Minister of China Cheng Guoping.
"As for the official position, we take a precautionary approach on the issue of cooperation in the Crimea. As for the business fraternity, business activity, which is carried out in Accordance with market rules, we don't mind, as the Crimean issue has a special character, " said Cheng Guoping during a meeting with Russian media.
He added That in the circumstances the "substantial support" for the Russian Federation from China is increasing economic cooperation.
"That would be the real help for Russian partners ", - noted Cheng Guoping.
Crimea again became a Russian region after the March 2014 referendum in which a Large number of residents at that time still Ukrainian autonomy, do not recognise the legitimacy of the February coup in Ukraine, voted for joining the Russian Federation.
