Pierce Brosnan made bond gay
Playing the role of secret agent 007 of the British intelligence pierce Brosnan was offered the producers of the franchise to reflect on the changes in the image of the hero. Brosnan believes that a gay person or a black James bond would have made the movie much more curious.

Candid interviews Brosnan gave Details magazine. Answering the question whether he is able to imagine a gay man in the role of agent 007, Irish artist replied: "of Course, why not?" adding that he does not know whether this option in real life.

"I think the producers are unlikely to allow this to happen. But it would have made the movie much more attractive. You can start, for example, with a black artist. Idris Elba, I think that would look good. It has and external data, and charisma. But I think Daniel Craig as will not yield to this place," declared Pearce.

At the same time, Elba is rumored, indeed claims to be the next 007 Craig in the works for 10 years. The Brosnan starred in 4 films "James bond": "Golden eye" (1995), "Tomorrow never dies" (1997), "the world is not enough" (1999), "Die another day" (2002).

Today, the series of James bond includes 23 films, the latest of which, "007: Coordinates "Skyfall", was released in early October 2012. And 1st in 1962, the first secret agent was Sean Connery.

Just, this role was played by 6 different actors - Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Brosnan and Craig. The aggregate amount of cash fees from all of the films amounted to about $ 6 billion, the franchise holds the 2nd place in the list of highest-grossing films, behind "Harry Potter".
