The U.S. Department of defense: Russia and China pose challenges, but cooperating with them
USA agitate the Russian Federation and China for cooperation in the sphere of security in the Asia-Pacific region and in other parts of the world, said Pentagon press Secretary Peter cook.

"We urge the Russian Federation and China to continue to work with us on security issues in this part of the world, in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond," said cook at the press conference.

"The USA are with respect to the fact that the Russian Federation and China continue the dialogue. It's not a surprise for us. We observe that the Russian Federation and China have opportunities for cooperation with the United States. But at the same time, as specified by the Minister (of defense Ashton Carter), the most in relation to Russia, it is necessary to respond in a strong and balanced manner, on specific hazards arising (the President of Russia) Vladimir Putin in Ukraine and in other places, " said the spokesman.

so he answered the question of whether the U.S. is concerned about the strengthening of cooperation between pairs of countries in the military sphere.

"This country, which at the same time present opportunities for cooperation and challenges," concluded the Commissioner of the Pentagon.

recently the U.S. Secretary of defense Ashton Carter made a number of statements in relation to Russia, where he personally criticized the policy of the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, noting that North America is ready to cooperate with Russia on a number of issues in the field of security.
