Alimony has offered to pay up to 24 years

In the state Duma proposed to increase the term of payment of the alimony for the period of schooling. The Creator of the bill indicated that the majority does not mean financial self-sufficiency, and as an example cited foreign practice.

For discussion of the state Duma introduced a bill which established the right of needy students 18 to 24 years enrolled full-time, to get child support. About it reports RIA Novosti news Agency referring to the information base of the lower house of Parliament.

In the explanatory note prescribed that the legislation enshrines the right of children to receive child support until the age of 18. But, considering opinion of the author of the document Mamed Abasov, majority does not mean economic self-sufficiency. As an example he showed Belgium and the Czech Republic. In these States, parents pay child support, almost to the end of schooling.

An exception may be a sabbatical. For the period of alimony payments can be stopped. Their size is guided by court proceeding from the material situation of the parties, other events.

Days.Roux wrote that in the Legislative Duma of Khabarovsk territory parliamentarians has proposed imposing a sanction for non-payers of child support. MPs have prepared a bill, according to which debtors should be punished by restriction of freedom for up to 4 years. According to the authors of the initiative, defaulters of the alimony will not be able to travel outside of the metropolis, to change the habitat and without the consent of regulatory authorities.
