Matvienko: Kiev understands that Crimea will not return to the Ukraine
The speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko believes that Kyiv is aware of the impossibility of the return of the Crimea to the Ukraine.

"I think Ukraine is already aware that the Peninsula of the Crimea won't return to it. She will be forced to accept this situation, because it is the will of the people of Crimea and Sevastopol. This is impossible to resist, " said Matvienko.

in addition, the Federation Council Speaker said that since the entry of the Crimea into the Russian Federation, the region had fully adapted, merged in the Russian legal field.

"Residents of the Crimea now declare: we would not forgive Russia if It did not contribute to the holding of a referendum on reunification and in the Crimean ports would be NATO military vessels. This humiliation is impossible to imagine, because the Russian fleet there is almost as much years, how old is USA as a state. In Crimea want to say one thing: settle down, gentlemen, the question is solved, Crimea is part of Russia ", - said Matvienko.

Crimea and located on the Crimean Peninsula Sevastopol became the Russian regions in March 2014 after a referendum in which over 90% of residents voted for secession from Ukraine and reunification with Russia. In the capital of Russia notice that the referendum in Crimea complies with international law and the UN Charter. The authorities of the EU and U.S. will not recognize the results of the referendum, and Ukraine still considers Crimea its, but at the time occupied territory.
