The Moscow Agency of ritual services has filed an application to Rospatent for registration of the trademark "Casket for rent". Taking into account the opinion of specialists, the innovation is put into practice it will not be possible.
A list of funeral services can be expanded with a new offer - rent a temporary coffin for a Grand farewell ceremony. Trademark "Casket for rent" in Rospatent registers of the Metropolitan funeral Agency LLC "Necropolis", inform "news".
The description tells of a trademark that is registered verbal element is the word "Casket for rent", made the letters of the Cyrillic alphabet in 3 levels. As well as a graphic element - a stylized image of a circle with ornate branches in different directions. According to the Manager of ritual Agency, while in the list of rental services there are no coffins.
As experts hope, in this embodiment, the coffins suites will be rented for the ceremony of farewell with the deceased. And after the front part of the deceased can be buried in cheaper and unpretentious coffin. But professionals stress that in practice the procedure of change of coffins is quite difficult to imagine.
Besides all this, a big question remains whether such innovations. Turns out, according to experts, sanitary norms do not allow the deceased to pass their 1st coffin to another and use the coffins for more than 1 times. Professionals assume that is probably similar registration of the trademark is nothing more than a marketing ploy.
Still, experts note that in the US and Europe there is a practice of putting the coffin in rent. But in the Russian practice such service has not yet been applied.
