Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk told about the plans to build a memorial of international standard in the place of mass executions of Jews during the great Patriotic war, in Babi Yar in Kiev.
Yatsenyuk said that in connection with the 75th anniversary of the tragedy in Babi Yar, which will be celebrated in 2016, the government together with the President of the country adopted an opinion on the establishment of the organizational Department to commemorate the victims.
"the memorial is part of the organizational meeting of the division. That is, it has to be, of course, on commemoration of international level, and we have to talk about the Fact that there must appear a memorial to world standards ", - said Yatsenyuk correspondents on Tuesday after laying flowers to the monument at Babi Yar, on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the tragedy.
He added that at the present time will be discussed who will build the memorial and on what project.
