Scientists have invented a male oral condom
Researchers in Japan have discovered a new species of squirrel that can make a man temporarily infertile. It is told that the new contraceptive has been tested on mice.

Scientists announced the discovery of the original for sperm protein isoforms, which can help to create highly effective oral condoms for men. On this line of research are quite successful tests on mice.

Haruhiko Miyata and his colleagues from Osaka University has decided to closely examine calcineurin playing a significant role in the fulfillment process. As they say in published in the journal Science article, researchers have directed attention to the fact that isoforms of calcineurin that Express genes PPP3CC and PPP3R2, dwell only in spermatogonial cells.

During experiments it was found that blocking the gene PPP3CC allows you to cause temporary infertility. Sperm lose their mobility and elasticity and is no longer able to fertilize the egg.

If this method proves its effectiveness in the process of further testing, scientists will begin to create male contraceptives return character. With the help of this product representative of the stronger sex will lose the ability to fertilize for a few days that will not affect other functions of the body.
