The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he hoped for a fair vote count in the last election and the imminent announcement of the outcome.
"over valaisiana. I, like all Ukrainians, I expect an honest and transparent counting and quick announcement of results, " wrote the head of the Ukrainian country on his page in Facebook.
Poroshenko also drew attention to the need for Pro-education coalitions in local councils. Police, according to his vision, are obliged to provide protection to the vote of the Ukrainian people.
Local elections were held in Ukraine on Sunday on the new electoral law. In small towns with population over 90 thousand people, the mayor was elected by a simple majority vote, and in large has the opportunity to be assigned to a second round if none of the candidates will be able to collect more than 50% of the vote.
The results must be determined before November 4 and made public for five days, and in case of holding the 2nd round in the big cities - not later than November 20.
