Scientists are preparing a group of monkeys for a mission to Mars
Domestic scientists are preparing a group of monkeys for a mission to Mars. In this experiment the monkeys not only learn how to control the spacecraft, but also will be the first representatives of Earth to set foot on the Red planet.

Scientists of the Russian Institute of biomedical problems (IBMP) have carried out experiments on 4 rhesus monkeys are considered the most intelligent primates. It is assumed that each of macaques-the astronauts will be a two-year preparation for the trip to the Red planet.

In the process of training monkeys to rise up early, 3 hours with instructors, solve different kind of tasks, then they are entitled to lunch and rest. "We have to civilize. She needs to sit in the chair, we must do something, not talking about test, test, some operations in this chair," explained the chief of Department of sensorimotor physiology and maintenance Inessa Kozlovskaya IBMP.

How to convince researchers, monkeys have to learn to steer with the joystick and to get the cursor at the target that appears on the screen. "The background of this pilot control of the spacecraft landing. I don't claim that this is built on control during the flight. But the monkey must be trained to perform specific program, similar in key areas, management programs inhabitant of our planet", - quote Kozlovsky "п▓п╣я│я┌п╦.Ru".

As conceived by scientists, in 3 months macaques, as experienced players will be in fractions of seconds to catch the joystick targets. A year will solve the mind mathematical problems and without the help of others to make a program of personal practice. Scientists admit that 1st mission to Mars, people will have to yield your own, if you believe Charles Darwin, the closest family members - apes.
