Sergei Filin in Large have replaced the ballet master of La Scala Makhar Vaziev. Honored artist of the Russian Federation will begin work in early March of the coming year.

The head of the Bolshoi ballet became Makhar Vaziev. As told the General Director of the Bolshoi theater Vladimir urin, he will take office at the beginning of the March 2016 expiration of the term of the contract of Sergei Filin, according to "360 suburbs".

That the contract with Filin will be completed in 2016, it became known in the summer. According to the decision of the management will be abolished his position as artistic Manager of the ballet. Instead it will have functioned as head of the ballet.

Mahar Vaziev is considered Russian and Russian ballet dancer. In 2002 he received the title of honored artist of the Russian Federation, in 2009-m became the main ballet master of La Scala theatre in Milan, informs "Interfax".

The resignation of Filin commented on ballerina Anastasia: in her view, the theatre intractable problems associated with the intervention of businesses in the creative process. In addition, the adept of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Bolshoi theater Mikhail Barshchevsky has named a new Manager of the living stream in the development of the theatre.

Sergei Filin was appointed artistic Manager of the ballet troupe of the Bolshoi theatre at the beginning of March 2011. In early January 2013 he was attacked - the artist threw acid in the face. Filin was taken to hospital with burns of face and eyes suffered several 10-s of operations.
