"The United States and Kazakhstan noted the support of the Minsk process as the sole means of resolving conflict and restoring peace within the borders of Eastern Ukraine. The United States expressed its appreciation for Kazakhstan's intention to expand economic cooperation with Ukraine ", - reported in the document.
The United States also emphasized that Kazakhstan supports the security and economic development of Afghanistan and regional economic integration in Central Asia. Both countries have called the instrument for stability in the area again based dialogue the United States and the five former Central Asian Soviet republics.
Kerry and his Kazakhstani colleague Erlan Idrissov also discussed the cooperation against the terrorist group "Islamic state" and fight crime.
