The tour operators will lose 1.5 billion of Egypt
The tour operators will lose 1.5 billion in the result of the cancellation of air links with Egypt. Press Secretary of the Russian Union of travel industry said that this figure is not final.

Costs of domestic travel companies from the termination of air links with Egypt amount to about 1.5 billion rubles. This was reported by press Secretary of the Russian Union of travel industry Irina Tyurina. She stressed that these figures are not considered final.

"Tour operators have determined the approximate amount, it amounted to 1.5 billion rubles - the main loss in consequence of the fact that they were forced to chase the empty aircraft to Egypt. It borrowed money from travelers (who paid for tours - Approx. ed.), i.e. these cash ought to be repaid, and even with all that to pay for the flight", - quotes its TASS.

Version Tyurin, tour operators paid for the flight program until March 2016. "Means that these funds should either return, or give the opportunity to use them for flights in other areas," - said Turina. Press Secretary at all thus difficult to designate a specific amount of the paid programs.

Recall, Russian President Vladimir Putin on 6 November agreed with the recommendations of the National anti-terrorism Committee to suspend air traffic with Egypt. On the same day at 20 hours were suspended all flights to South country.
