Head of the state Duma Alexei Pushkov gave advice to the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, dissatisfied with the possible introduction of embargo from Russia, trade with Moldova.
"it is unclear why Poroshenko concerned about possible Russian embargo on Ukrainian foodstuffs. He does not want trade with us? So let them sell their Moldova ", - wrote Pushkov in own Twitter.

On the last working day of the week Brussels tried to persuade Moscow not to enter the food embargo regarding Kiev after the entry into force on 1 January 2016, the economic part of the Treaty on the unity between Ukraine and the European Union. On 5 November the Head of Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine Oleksiy Pavlenko said that his country is ready for the introduction of Russia's ban on imports of Ukrainian agricultural products.
