Susan Boyle has been reported to have another meltdown, and this time it gets something to do with a mop. While waiting a British Airways (BA) flight to Chicago on January 12, the 48-year-old singer stunned passengers at London`s Heathrow Airport with a bizarre scene as she began dancing and singing into a mop head in a first-class lounge.
According to The Sun, the former "Britain`s Got Talent" contestant sparked complaints to the BA staff when she used the makeshift "microphone" she grabbed from a cleaner to polish passengers` shoes. When airline crew tried to calm her down, she flee the Terminal 5 lounge, shouting "I`ve escaped, I`ve escaped!" It wasn`t until a BA official sat by her until she boarded her flight to Chicago that her rampage ended.
Of the incident, a source told the publication, "It was chaos. Susan was very restless and agitated from the minute she walked in and immediately started making a scene. She was singing and dancing around, shouting obscenities at full volume." A spokesperson for BA later confirmed, "A customer in the BA lounge on Tuesday was asked to temper their behavior as it was becoming disruptive."
Susan Boyle was flying to the U.S. to be a guest on "The Oprah Winfrey Show". Although it won`t be her first time being a guest on the show, it will be her first live appearance. In 2009, she was interviewed by Oprah Winfrey via satellite. Words are, she hired a vocal coach to get her ready for her performance there.
This isn`t the first time the Scottish singer has a break-down. She was captured on camera sobbing and sucking her thumb following a performance in New York back in November 2009. She has also been admitted to London`s Priory clinic in May that year after suffering from exhaustion, just days after she was announced as the runner-up on "Britain`s Got Talent".
