In the work of the popular messenger Viber happened large-scale failure, the victims of which were users around the world. Mobile devices connected to the network, but the news was not dispatched and not delivered.

Adepts Viber confirmed the existence of problems and announced that the company is working to resolve issues. "We know that some users currently have problems with Viber. We work hard to fix it", - stated in the information of the followers of the messenger on Twitter.

With all this about the causes of failure, nothing is told. About an hour after the first difficulties the adepts of the service spoke about the resumption of the normal operation of Viber and wished users a superior Friday.

Viber is an application for smartphones that lets you chat, make calls over the Internet, share photos and videos. To the best knowledge of company, Viber is used by over 460 million people in 193 countries of the world. In early July 2014 followers service announced the opening of a representative office in Russia.

Popular messenger was launched in 2010 by Israeli Talmont Marco and Igor Magazinnik. At the beginning of last year, the partners have implemented 100% of Viber by Japanese Internet retailer Rakuten for 900 million dollars.
