The bus, which was carrying the Czech tourists in the South-East of France was shot by an unknown attacker. 6 passengers were injured.
The Prosecutor valance Alex Perrin told that the bus was carrying tourists on a Friday evening on the A7 highway home from a trip to Spain, when the attack occurred.
Six passengers, among whom were students, were slightly injured. One person was seriously injured. He was hit with a shard of glass.
Perrin told BFM-TV that the first shot hit the windshield and the second hit the rear window, both glass crashed. On the scene of the incident there were no arrests and claims of liability.
Perrin said, "one would think that the bus, the same as a normal shot as anyone else in his place."
Officials suspect that the gunmen used a shotgun to fire at the bus that was moving from the bridge over the motorway A7 near Sauls-sur-Rhone, about halfway between Lyon and Marseille."
