In Hawaii on Monday morning crashed 2 planes. 5 people were killed. A group of tourists with 2 instructors flew in order to jump with a parachute. At 9.30 a single-engine plane crashed near the airport in Kauai, reports the official representative of the fire service.
Four adults died at the scene. One man died on the way to the hospital. Another single-engine plane experienced engine trouble at a time when going to Honolulu international airport. He landed in the water near Makaha beach, said Ian Gregor a spokesman for the Federal aviation administration.
In the morning, the lifeguard noticed the plane half submerged in the Reef Charlie's spokesman said emergency services Director Shane Enright. The passengers were 50 yards from the shore, one of the passengers was hanging on the wings of the aircraft with a life jacket when a lifeguard reached them, said Enright.
56-year-old man who was flying the plane and 52-year-old female passenger, were transferred to the regional hospital with minor injuries. Both are believed to be from Oahu. The FAA and the national Council for transport safety is investigating both incidents.
