The bodyguard told about the life of Prince
The relatives of the singer Prince Rogers Nelson prefer to remain silent about the last days of the artist. But some of them still provided some information.

The bodyguard of the Prince, who told me that he works for a mega-star since 2012, spoke with CNN on Sunday. "I was a bodyguard of the Prince until the day he died," said Chris Gaither, whom everyone calls "Romeo".

The Gaither is a prominent figure. Dressed in a blue suit, he was one of the last who left private memorial with the participation of several hundred people. The service was held in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Minnesota, near Minnetonka.

"It was really beautiful, fit for someone like Prince. We recognize his memory and his presence and everything he has done for this world and for future generations," said the Gaither. But his tone quickly changed when the question came about painkillers and addiction. The Gaither said that all the speculation is a lie.

"I was packing a bag this person every day. I was on tour with him for several months. So if he had some sort of addiction, then I would know about it. It would be something you would know," he said. If he saw anything that would indicate addiction? "No, no," firmly said Gaither.

The Gaither said that Prince sent him home to Texas for a week. The bodyguard went on vacation. The Gaither said he helped a friend when the phone rang, which brought him into shock. The person on the other end of the line told him that the Prince was dead. He says he learned of the death of the singer a few minutes before the news reports that flashed around the world.

Within three weeks of the date of death, Gaither said that he was upset about all the "talk" about addiction singer from painkillers or even drugs.

This conversation began when the Prince plane made an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois, 6 days before his death. Unnamed sources told several media outlets that Prince was sent to the hospital due to an overdose.

But the main evidence of the Prince's death - the autopsy reports and toxicology is still not known. No official cause of death has not been announced and the investigation into his death is underway.
