North Korea, one of the most closed countries in the world, puts on its biggest political event to be held for the first time in 36 years.
7th Labor Congress began Friday in Pyongyang, the capital of the country. North Korean leader Kim Jong UN said that the event will "reveal a brilliant project that will help to achieve the final victory of our revolution". The event takes place in complete secrecy, despite the presence of more than 100 international media. The event will be a dynamic spectacle. Thousands of North Koreans they have a parade, and I will shew wonders of choreography.
The meeting, originally reported in October, said that the Congress convened to reflect "the requirements of the party and the revolution", the official state Korean Central news Agency.
There is speculation that Kim Jong-UN may deviate from the ideology of his father and to strengthen their own brand of simultaneous nuclear and economic development. The Congress will also discuss a program to develop nuclear weapons in North Korea. This, along with military intelligence, is one of the main reasons why many South Koreans and US government officials believe that the fifth nuclear test could occur shortly before the Congress.
Another test of the hydrogen bomb was produced in January of this year. Because of this incident, the United States had to adopt tougher sanctions against North Korea to halt nuclear and missile programs of the regime. These sanctions have hampered the development of the economy of the country, that was another problem for the leader of the country.
