Madonna has a full body wax once a week

Debi Mazar is good friends with the 51-year-old singer, after appearing in several of her music videos including Papa Don`t Preach and Justify My Love. The actress was reportedly overheard discussing the pop icon`s beauty regime at the recent Tarina Tarantino launch in Los Angeles.

"She said that Madonna waxes her whole body once a week," a source told National Enquirer magazine. "Madonna`s Italian and Debi said she?s actually really furry."

Madonna is famed for her toned physique, which comes from hours spent pounding the treadmill. She is known to stick to a punishing diet and fitness regime, and never sugar-coats the lengths she goes to to keep in shape.

"There are no short cuts to being Madonna, it`s all about hard work. There is no easy way," she has previously said. "If you want to know how I look like I do, it`s diet and exercise and constantly being careful... I`m not going to slow down, get off this ride, stay home and get fat!"
