In Turkey there was a double terrorist attack
In Turkey there was a terrorist attack. Occurred 2 of the explosion. One big explosion followed by smaller, occurred on Saturday around 11 PM local time (3 p.m. ET). A Kurdish militant group has claimed responsibility for the bombings in Istanbul, killing at least 38 people, mostly police officers and wounded some 155.

Kurdish hawks said in a statement on its website that Turkish people were not the object of the attack on Saturday evening. 13 people were arrested in connection with the bombings, said interior Minister of Turkey Suleyman Soylu at a press conference on Sunday. 30 people from the dead were police, said Soylu.

Remote control detonated a car bomb, said Soylu. Soon after, a suicide bomber committed a second explosion in the nearby Park Mack. Both locations are less than a mile from each other. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, an ally of the US in the fight against ISIS, spoke at a press conference after visiting the hospital where injured in the attacks. "We have 38 dead and 155 wounded. The most important topic that we are going to do against terrorist attacks, and I want people to know that we will fight this to the very end," Erdogan said.

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus, said that the attack was well planned. "The explosion occurred after the fans of both teams left the stadium," said Kurtulmus . "A blast has hit police personnel who were on routine duties after the game in this area. Thus, the attack is directly aimed at the police." According to experts, at least 300-400 kilograms of explosives were used in the attack, he said. "The attack was so strong that the vehicle used in the bombing were completely destroyed," he said.
